Week 4 of our Faith Over Finances series is all about saving & stewardship — and the condition of our hearts behind the money we set aside.

Saving isn’t wrong. In fact, Scripture calls wise saving a mark of stewardship. But if we’re honest, a lot of our saving can quietly shift from wisdom… to worry. We start stockpiling out of fear of the future instead of faith in God’s provision. Tonight we’ll look at what the Bible actually teaches about saving, hoarding, and trusting God with tomorrow.

We’ll walk through key passages like Proverbs 21:20, Genesis 41 (Joseph’s planning), Luke 12 (the rich fool), and Matthew 6, and ask:

• Am I saving out of wisdom or fear?

• Has my security moved from Christ to my bank account?

• How can I set healthy, Spirit-led goals for giving, saving, and financial freedom?

If you’re feeling anxious about the economy, your future, or whether you’ll “have enough,” this message is for you. Security comes from Christ, not our savings. Saving is good — but our Savior is better.
